Environmental security: a metaphor for the millennium.

In this article, the authors analyse the casual relations between the concept of political safety and environmental preservation. Cross-border environmental resources expand the scale of the geostrategic conception of States, and consequently the possibilities of conflict. Progress in the recognition of said relations has caused the concept of environmental security to emerge as the great metaphor for the millennium.
